How to book your Wedding Photographer?

Ok, it should really be titled “How to book me as your Wedding Photographer”, but the process will be similar for most Photographers in the Wedding industry.

Most couples find me via Recommendation, Google or Instagram. Regardless of how you find me though, hopefully, you’ll end up on my website where they can look through my package offers and decide if I’m the right photographer for you.

You can either send an email or use my contact form. I find most couples will use the contact form as it’s the easiest way to provide all the info I’ll to progress with the enquiry.

If you’re chosen date is available, we’ll be able to chat about how I can help.

This is the point I’ll normally send you a few recent wedding galleries to look through, allowing you to make a better informed decision if my approach is the right fit for you & your wedding day.

We’ll also arrange a call for a day that suits you, the 10-20 call is pretty relaxed and normally done through Zoom. Again, another chance for us to chat, we’ll generally discuss how the wedding planning is going, the package or services your interested in and what the wedding photography process will look like for you.

After our call, hopefully you’ve decided you can put up with me for a day and will want to go ahead with your booking, so at this point I’ll send you everything you need to secure your wedding date.

Post-meeting, you’ll receive an email with a quote for your chosen package and any extras you’ve opted for. Once accepted, the quote will generate your deposit link and contract, complete these and your date will be confirmed!

Post-booking I’ll normally be in touch every couple of months, increasing in frequency as we get closer to the wedding day itself. This can be anything from a check in to make sure you’re getting on ok with the wedding planning to tips I’ve picked up from past weddings that may suit your day too!

On your wedding day itself it’s the easy bit, enjoy the day! I’ll be snapping away getting candid shots of you both & all your wonderful guests.

Post-Wedding is fairly straight forward too! If you’ve selected Package 1 or Package 2, you’ll get anywhere from 10-30+ images on the day or the day. These are perfect for a social media post, and will generally be sitting in your inbox by the time you wake up.

The rest of your images will be delivered via a private online gallery in 4-6 weeks after the wedding, I aim for before 4 weeks in all but the busiest of periods though!

For those with Package 1 or 2, you’ll have all your images within 30 days.

A couple of weeks after you’ve recieved your full gallery, I’ll be in touch to confirm your wedding album too!

I hope this has been a helpful little guide into my client experience. It will vary from couple to couple, but ultimately I’m here to help in any way I can!
