Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness - Diane & Kyle

We were fortunate to have some stunning blue skies and a gorgeous low sun for Diane & Kyle’s Wedding in the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness. Whilst the weather in Scotland is certainly not known for being consistent, their day proved to be a wonderful exception to the norm.

Diane & Kyle had me there to shoot both Photo & Video for them, creating a gallery of some of the highlights from the day, alongside a short video to go with it.

They decided to have a small wedding, using one of the cosiest rooms in the Kingsmills Hotel. This was a great decision, meaning it was only their family & closest friends that were in attendance on the day.

The guests were told of how they met, how Kyle had ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese on their first date, and of how Diane had regarded it as a bold decision with it being their first date!

What stood out most from the day though, was how happy these two wonderful people are together and how lucky we were to be a part of their wedding day.

After drinks in the Kingsmills, guests were guided through to a private room set for dinner, each setting with personalised gift favours for each of the guests.

After Dinner, the Karaoke Mics were brought out, with everyone taking a turn to give it their best attempt. Following a couple of rounds of karaoke and plenty of happy moments, it was time for a Ceilidh, with Diane, Kyle & their guest proving that even with a smaller group, a good Ceilidh is all about the enthusiasm to give it a go!

It was an absolute pleasure to be a small part in Diane & Kyle’s wedding day at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness and I hope the photos and videos above will make up for singing attempts during Karaoke.
